About
Born and raised in Tallahassee, I spent close to a decade in St. Louis, MO (2012-2020). I bought a house through short-sale auction in the city, and performed a full gut-rehab on it while I was working full-time, and attending college. I lived in St. Louis until early 2020, at which point I sold my then finished house and moved back to Florida to focus on my education full-time. My formal education in Computer Science prior to completing my B.S. degree was limited to taking web design, JavaScript, C++, and a few general I.T. related courses in high school. I have several years of experience with web-development, as that was one of the jobs I held long term in St. Louis,MO.

- Accomplishments:
- Built full-stack Android mobile application using Kotlin & Jetpack Compose. Application is for managing a warehouse's product inventory.
- Built full-stack console/terminal based Rust application for financial investment firm to manage their client lists & associated client data. Utilizes a remote MySQL database for storing client data used in general application, as well as hashed employee passwords for authenticating login attempts.
- Built full, playable, prototype level for a stealth based 3rd person game using Unreal Engine 5.4. Implemented various mechanics such as player being caught, player hiding/visibility, patrolling NPC enemies, various collision related mechanics such as trip wires, security cameras, environmental meshes, etc. Also designed the various custom environment models that were used to create the map for the level. Implemented various item pickups that affect the player's score, visible on the player HUD. Keys and the doors they unlock were also implemented. Included level objectives on the hud which update when progress event is triggered. Everything implemented from scratch.
- Built JavaScript based web-application using Express, Node.js, Handlebars(page templating), and MongoDB. Also constructed a SPA for managing & customizing the web-app using Angular.
- Constructed a machine learning model in Python using Keras/TensorFlow. Utilized deep Q-learning to develop the most efficient strategy for completing an exploration based puzzle game.
Employment:
- FedEX Office - Lead Production Coordinator (Production Manager) - 2010-2012:
- Managed daily operations of the production floor, production of orders when necessary, and intake / processing of new orders for Tier-1 center (1M+ annual gross).
- Coordinated with remote departments to ensure projects were delegated to appropriate vendors to meet set deadlines.
- Responsible for communicating order details between shifts (hand-offs), ensuring all orders met quality guidelines, and processing center end of day paperwork/bank deposits.
- UPS - Dispatch Supervisor - 2013-2016:
- Built daily route & load plan for 30+ trucks/drivers (Greater Metro area)
- Handled & corrected address entries for the address database used in route planning
- Daily communication with upper-level center supervisors to handle internal paperwork & filings related to position
- TimeKeeper - Web Developer & e-Commerce Store Manager - 2013-2019:
- Designed and built e-commerce webstore platform for brick and mortar business.
- Custom site built using JavaScript, CSS, and tools provided by Prestashop (PHP).
- Integrated e-commerce web-store to allow syncing of inventory from other online platforms (using Ebay's sync API).
- Managed inventory, generated web-store pages for 1000's of high-value items (Jewelry, Clocks, Antiques, & Classic Cars)
- Diverted traffic from our sales accounts on other e-commerce platforms (Etsy/Ebay) to the web-store.Increased revenue on individual high-value sales by using SEO techniques, Advertising, and removing cuts taken from external platforms.
